Tom Cruiser Lifetime Limited Warranty

Your Tom Cruiser luggage is covered by a lifetime limited warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by the emirate or country.

A. Products Covered by this Limited Warranty

This limited warranty applies to polycarbonate, aluminum, and nylon luggage manufactured by Tom Cruiser and purchased directly from Tom Cruiser or an authorized retailer in the UAE. The warranty also extends to batteries sold with luggage or separately. Luggage is designed for travel by air, car, train, boat, and foot. This warranty does not cover luggage used in ways incompatible with its intended design.

B. Who this Warranty Extends To

This warranty extends to the original purchaser or, in the case of a gift, the original recipient. The “original purchaser” is the first purchaser of the luggage from Tom Cruiser or an authorized retailer. The “original recipient” is the first person to receive the luggage as a gift. Warranty coverage is valid only for the period the luggage is owned by the original purchaser/recipient. A copy of the purchase receipt is required to determine warranty applicability.

This warranty is not transferable and does not apply to luggage used for commercial or rental purposes.

C. Tom Cruiser’s Limited Warranty and Responsibilities

Tom Cruiser warrants luggage against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, provided it is used for its intended purposes.

D. What this Lifetime Limited Warranty Covers

This warranty covers the following defects:

  • Cracks or breaks in the shell
  • Wheels, handles, or telescoping handles that break off and are no longer usable
  • Zippers that no longer open or close
  • Fabric tears that render the front pocket fabric non-functional

This warranty does not cover:

  • Cosmetic Damage, including scratches, dents, scuffs, stains, color changes, normal wear and tear, or other non-functional changes in appearance during normal handling and use.
  • Replacement of non-defective pieces (e.g., if only one component in a multi-part luggage set is defective).
  • Luggage sold “as-is”, “preconditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, or previously owned.
  • Loss of battery functionality, which is covered solely by a separate Battery Limited Warranty.
  • Loss of functionality due to being locked out of luggage.

E. Your Responsibilities

To claim the warranty, you must:

  • Return the luggage to Tom Cruiser or an authorized service center in the UAE with proof of purchase.
  • Shipping costs for returning the luggage to the service center are covered by Tom Cruiser.
  • Repaired or replaced luggage will be sent back to you within 90 days, at no additional shipping cost.

Replaced or repaired luggage is subject to the same warranty as the original product.

F. Disclaimer, Limitation on Liability

To the extent permitted by law in the UAE, Tom Cruiser provides luggage “as-is,” and this warranty replaces all other warranties or conditions. Some UAE consumer protection laws may give you additional rights.

Tom Cruiser’s liability will not exceed the original purchase price of the luggage.

G. Arbitration

Any dispute related to this warranty will be resolved by binding arbitration, not in court. Arbitration will follow the rules of the UAE Commercial Arbitration Centre or a similar governing body.

The location of arbitration hearings will be in Dubai unless both parties agree otherwise.

H. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any disputes will be resolved under UAE jurisdiction.
